The wind farm owner, Rampion Offshore Wind Limited has three shareholders.

Rampion Renewables Limited is the majority shareholder with 50.1 per cent of the shares, Canadian energy company Enbridge has 24.9 per cent and Offshore Wind Co. 25 per cent.

E.ON UK developed the project through to consent and managed the construction on behalf of all three owners.

Offshore Wind Co

Offshore Wind Co owns a 25 per cent stake in Rampion Offshore Wind Farm. Offshore Wind Co is backed by an experienced consortium of long-term investors, including Macquarie European Infrastructure Fund 5 and Universities Superannuation Scheme.

Offshore Wind Co is a major investor in the UK’s offshore wind sector, managing investments in a portfolio of nine projects representing approximately 2.4 GW of clean generation capacity. The Offshore Wind Co consortium is led by Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets, the world’s largest infrastructure manager.



Enbridge Inc. is North America’s premier energy infrastructure company with strategic business platforms that include an extensive network of crude oil, liquids and natural gas pipelines, regulated natural gas distribution utilities, and renewable power generation.

The company safely delivers an average of 3 million barrels of crude oil and liquids every day; accounts for about 63% of U.S.-bound Canadian exports; and moves approximately 20% of all natural gas consumed in the U.S., serving key supply basins and demand markets.
