APPLICATION FOR RAMPION OFFSHORE WIND FARM MET MAST FOUNDATION REMOVAL

7th September 2021

Notice is hereby given that Ms. Anna Bendall, Rampion Offshore Wind Limited, Greenwood House, Westwood Way, Westwood Business Park, Coventry, CV4 8PB, has applied to the Marine Management Organisation under the Marine and Coastal Access Act 2009, Part 4, for a marine licence to decommission the Rampion Offshore Wind Farm met mast foundation, Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler (ADCP) and remove t he scour protection laid around the foundation.

Copies of the application and associated information may be viewed on line in the Public Register at www.gov.uk/check-marine-licence-register.

Representations in respect of the application should ordinarily be made by:
– Visiting the MMO public register  using case reference MLA/2021/00155;

However, we will also accept representations via the following formats:
– By email to marine.consents@marinemanagement.org.uk; or alternatively
– By letter addressed to Marine Management Organisation, Lancaster House, Hampshire Court, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE4 7YH

In all cases, correspondence must:
– Be received within 28 days of the date of the first notice (1);
– Quote the case reference; and
– include an address to which correspondence relatin g to the representation or objection may be sent.

The Marine Management Organisation will pass to the applicant a copy of any objection or representation we receive.

RWE Renewables UK Ltd at Rampion windfarm would like to inform mariners that we are carrying out essential maintenance on the wind turbines.

This work is due to take place 17th February – 28th  February 2021 within the Rampion OWF Area, depending on weather.

Notice to Mariners – MPI Resolution JuV

RWE Renewables UK Ltd at Rampion windfarm would like to inform mariners that we are carrying out essential maintenance on the wind turbines.

This work is due commence on 26th December 2020 within the Rampion OWF Area, depending on weather.

The works involves; Using a jack up vessel to exchange large components in the nacelle of the turbine at F03 location using the vessel crane.

Notice to Mariners – MV Ocean Observer

Scope of Work: Mariners are advised that the survey vessel, MV Ocean Observer, will be conducting early stage geophysical survey within an area of search identified for a potential Rampion 2 OWF development, off the coast of Sussex.
