Specialist Training Consultants
Specialist Training Consultants (STC) is a family run training business based in Seaford, East Sussex.
Last year STC celebrated 20 years in operation, having been established in 1997 by then London fire officer, Peter Gwilliam.
Peter, now STC Managing Director, had been instrumental in forming the first London Fire Brigade rope rescue team.
STC offers a broad range of industrial safety and technical rescue services including training, equipment sales, equipment servicing, LOLER and repair, consultancy as well as onshore and offshore technical rescue teams
The company specialises in technical rope rescue, emergency response team activity, incident command and management training. Its work with Rampion has included: sales, service and advice including constant-rate descender service, general work at height equipment inspection and gas monitor calibration.

Working with Rampion has introduced us to the offshore wind energy sector and has opened doors to other contacts, resulting in new contracts.
The experience and knowledge of the sector we have gained from working with Rampion helped us to secure a major emergency response and technical rescue contract on a wind farm being built in the North Sea over the next two years. And it has positioned us well so we have good prospects of further work in the offshore wind industry.
