Visiting Rampion
Rampion has received many enquiries from people interested in visiting the wind farm.
We do not currently have plans to organise public boat trips ourselves as our resources are focussed on the operation and maintenance of the wind farm. However a number of local charter boat operators are offering the opportunity to get a more close up view of the project and they are also aware of the safety requirements. You can also visit our Visitor Centre which opened in 2020 and is located on Brighton’s seafront. Here you can discover how electricity works, how the wind farm was built and learn about the relationship between electricity and climate change.
We recommend you try out the very popular Virtual Reality, which takes you on a virtual journey out to the Wind Farm, where you can ‘climb’ up a wind turbine and see the view from the top!
