Wild Dog Design
Wild Dog is a Brighton creative agency that works with clients to develop design concepts and technical solutions for the full range of digital web-based projects.
Founded in 1996, the agency is based in Old Steine, not far from the seafront, and has a team of 10 working in a variety of sectors including travel and tourism, utilities, education, health (NHS and pharmaceutical), design and manufacturing.
For Rampion, Wild Dog’s brief was to create a fully responsive website offering a simple and clear experience for a variety of end users – the local community, mariners, educators, local suppliers and the media. The site needed to work visually whilst also being a hub of information about the project and its future. It had to tick all the boxes for all potential site users.
The Rampion site was particularly unique as there was the opportunity to include an interactive map based on Google’s mapping technology and a WebGL animation, which explains how Rampion works. Each member of the Wild Dog team worked on the project as it progressed through its different phases of information architecture, design, HTML, CMS build, illustration and animation
