Applications for funding
Management of the Rampion Community Benefit Fund, including the application process, is carried out by the Sussex Community Foundation. The organisation raises funds for, and gives grants to, charities and community groups across East Sussex, West Sussex and Brighton & Hove.
Since 2006, the organisation has given £11 million in grants and is building an endowment fund for Sussex that will continue to support local communities for many years to come.
The overall value of the Rampion Fund that the Sussex Community Foundation is managing is £3.1 million.
- £2 million will be available to support eligible community projects, with a proportion being invested as an endowment fund for the long-term benefit of Sussex communities;
- £500,000 will be available to support eligible community projects in the East Worthing and Lancing communities;
- £300,000 will be available to support eligible community projects in the designated area south of the A272 where the electrical substation is situated;
- £300,000 will be available to support sea-user organisations.
Grants of between £1,000 and £10,000 are available, with higher grants of up to £50,000 for larger capital projects.
