Maintenance activity
The Rampion operations & maintenance team comprises 60 full time employees including: engineers, wind turbine technicians, parts and vessel logistics team, vessel crews, plus management and administration.
The teams use three 12-seat crew transfer vessels and the key maintenance activities for the wind farm are:
- Turbine servicing
- Foundation inspections
- Electrical distribution system maintenance
- Control and communication system maintenance
- Sub-seasurveys
- Performance and reliability analysis
- Long-term integrity analysis
- Upgrades
- Breakdown repairs
